The Better Connected Theme is to improve communication on both estates and with the wider community and to encourage inter-trading across both Estates.
The BID is managed and coordinated by our dedicated BID Manager Joanne Taylor who provides a single point of contact for businesses for all estate related issues.
As we are keen for Businesses to engage with us as the BID and each other to be a united voice.
Our BID Newsletter is sent out monthly and is used to promote inter trading by promoting companies that offer services, expertise and products. We always welcome news to be shared on our Newsletter and also on the New’s section of this website. We also have our Twitter account to communicate with businesses and promote the estates to new occupiers and prospective employees.
All BID Businesses are offered group membership of Halton Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise. The benefits of Chamber membership are numerous and include:-
* Free places at 1stuesday breakfast networking events
* Free Health and Safety helpline
* Free HR helpline
* Free Legal helpline
* Export documentation support
“We have been very impressed by the proactive approach from Halton BID, recently their introduction between Indigo Environmental and another BID business has resulted in reciprocal business within the BID catchment area. Generating revenue and securing jobs, promoting environmental and legal compliance, a win win situation for the area and matches our long term investment in our plastic recycling plants here in Widnes”.
