We were so lucky to get ice cream weather for both Halebank and Astmoor ‘Break the Ice’ events earlier this month! Outside events are always a gamble with the Great British weather, however, taking a risk paid off, as we got gorgeous sunshine on both days.
It was lovely to see so many happy faces, especially after months only seeing people virtually. Thank you also for all the positive feedback about this idea. It was great to hear how many of you are now extremely busy so have recently been struggling to find the time to travel to meetings or events. However, many of you found the time to come and join us for a nice cold refreshing ice cream on a hot day and to have a brief catch up with Jo our BID Manager, as well as your neighbours on the estates.
