Defibrillators, PADs, & Bleed Kits

Defibrillators are life saving devices and we are ecstatic to be able to have these devices installed and maintained across both Halton estates. Studies have confirmed that immediate delivery of CPR combined with the early use of an automated external defibrillator gives a person in cardiac arrest the best chance of survival. Having these life saving devices near by is brilliant and we hope that BID businesses feel reassured and more confident in cases of an incident on the estate. In addition the public and nearby community can access and utilize the defibrillators.

We recommend that BID businesses make use of the fully funded training courses we run, especially the “Defibrillator AED Level 2 (VTQ)” half day course and the “Emergency First Aid at Work” one day course. Both courses help to illustrate the importance of Defibrillators and the knowledge of how to operate them. The training course schedule can be found here.
