Friday 25th July, eight brave members of staff from Kawneer UK completed a thrilling charity sky dive in support of Stick ‘n’ Step, a charity that supports children with cerebral palsy.

The team — Laura Parsons, Alex Benner, Jack Turner, Harry Turner, Ste Shaw, Dylan Manning, Ste Ramsden, and Mike Parkin took the leap from 13,000 feet at Tilstock Airfield in Shropshire, cheered on by friends, family, and colleagues.
So far, the sky dive has raised over £2,800, with fundraising still ongoing. Every penny will go toward supporting the incredible work that Stick ‘n’ Step does to help children and their families.
Mike Parkin, Applications Analyst / Infrastructure Engineer, said:
“Freefalling from 13k feet was AWESOME! Soaring through the clouds where I felt the moisture and temperature drop was a great sensation! I would do it again in a heartbeat!”
With the success of this challenge, the Kawneer team is already brainstorming ideas for their next big charity event in 2026. Watch this space!
