Training Skills and Knowledge
Our tailored training programme has been very successful, with many BID Businesses taking advantage of the free training on offer and individual people being upskilled in a range of workplace related disciplines.
We listen to what training businesses require and as well as offering need to have mandatory training such as First Aid at Work, Manual Handling, Risk Assessment, Forklift Truck Training, Fire Warden and Fire Safety training, we also offer other varied training courses e.g. Mental Health First Aid, Microsoft packages training, Health and Wellbeing, HR Toolkit and Digital Marketing to name a few.
Delivery of the training is flexible and all courses are delivered locally.

Halton BID online learning portal
In addition to the face to face training we also have a comprehensive range of online learning available on our Halton BID Online Learning Portal.
The Online Learning allows you and your staff and work colleagues to complete online training when and where it suits from your place of work or from home.
Courses offered range from Anaphylaxis to Working at Heights, and your employees can earn credits towards a range of qualifications.
